CHICO, Calif. - Two arts organizations located in Chico have expanded their offerings virtually this year, and have changed their hours to allow for some in-person art viewing.

monca, the Museum of Northern California Art, are offering a virtual tour of their exhibits. The show is extended until November 8th. CLICK HERE to visit the gallery online.

monca has opened back up for public viewing, only allowing 20 visitors in the museum at a time. monca is open Thursday thru Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The Chico Art Center will also be reopening Saturday, November 7th. Until then, art lovers can use their computers to visit Butte County artists. This year's Open Studios Art Tour is virtual. It is still a major fundraiser for the Chico Art Center. People need to buy a tour guide, and then they will receive an access code to use to explore artist pages.

Tour guides for the Open Studios Tour are available at Ellis Art & Engineering Supplies in Chico (122 Broadway), or at the Broken Color Gallery in Oroville (1360 Montgomery Street).

Thankfully, the wind is cooperating much better today in northern California. Our weather is still quite hot for this time of year and very dry. There is plenty of haze and smoke from the Fawn Fire overhead, and it isn't leaving yet.
