Chico 2021 Business Summit and State of the City Address to be virtual

The Chico Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chico will co-host the 2021 Business Summit and State of the City Address on Friday, January 29th.

CHICO, CALIF. - The Chico Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chico will co-host the 2021 Business Summit and State of the City Address on Friday, January 29th.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, it's happening via Zoom, starting at 8:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. You can register here to receive the Zoom meeting link and information.

During the Summit Chico Mayor Andrew Coolidge will present the State of the City Address. There will also be reports from Chamber of Commerce Board Chair Ben Winter and Chico City Manager Mark Orme.  Mark Francis with Golden Valley Bank will provide the 2021 Economic and Business Climate Outlook.

Light scattered showers are on tap for the start of your Thursday, and I'm tracking heavier rain ahead from Thursday afternoon through mid day Friday. We'll have a lull in our wet pattern late Friday through early Saturday, but even heavier rain and snow will return this weekend and persist into next week.
