PARADISE, Calif. - More popular community traditions have been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Paradise Chamber of Commerce announced that it had no choice but to cancel two of the town's favorite traditions in order to preserve public health and business health.

The Party in the Park summer concert series and the Johnny Appleseed Days festival in October have both been canceled for 2020.

The Chamber office is also closed right now because of the surge in coronavirus cases in Butte County. You can still reach the Chamber by phone if you need assistance. All the staff is working from home.

Throw on a jacket and grab those sunglasses as you're heading out the door Monday morning. We have brisk temperatures to start the day, but will end up sunny and warm for your Monday afternoon. We'll get even warmer mid week. A modest drop in temperatures and the potential for showers will finally return for your weekend.
