CHICO, Calif. - A beloved restaurant that was destroyed in the Camp Fire and reopened in Chico, is now closing for good.
Casa de Paradiso's owner said the pandemic is the main reason he is being forced to shut down.
The restaurant reopened in the summer of 2019, just off of Carmichael Drive in south Chico.
Manuel Tovalin said he is sad to say goodbye to his employees, but he is grateful for the support from his loyal customers.
Some customers say they had followed the restaurant from Paradise and will miss them when they close their doors.
Stop by Casa de Paradiso before July 10 for a final goodbye.
