Car Crashes into fire hydrant on corner of Lassen Avenue

Cal Water is working to repair a fire hydrant after it was damaged in a car crash.

CHICO, Calif. - Cal Water is working to repair a fire hydrant after it was damaged in a car crash.

A man drove off the road and hit the fire hydrant on the corner of Lassen Ave. and Cohasset road, causing water to shoot upward.

The car continued on before denting a light pole, Chico Police and Fire were on scene. 

Action News Now spoke to one firefighter who said that no one was injured in the crash.
