CHICO, Calif. - Terra Hill was burned from head to toe in the Camp Fire.

She was rescued outside her Concow home by a Cal Fire crew based out of Stirling City, when they heard her cries for help.

Those firefighters were honored a couple months ago for their bravery, and Terra was finally able to connect with them.

She said, "When I first got back to the state of mind of being able to think clearly it was the first thing that came to mind waas I wanted to find the firefighters. I wanted to find the firefighters to save me to thank them."

Captain Abel Ascencio said it was very special for him, "Normally when we go and help somebody on the emergencies, that pretty much ends when we go to the hospital or when we rescue them from that incident and we never really get to find out the end of that story, this is the first time for me I get to see that person I helped."

Hill still has a long road to recovery.
