Camp Fire Relief Fund Raises $804,000

The North Valley Community Foundation's Camp Fire Relief Fund has raised $804,000 in funds so far, which have gone toward various shelters, organizations and service providers.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The North Valley Community Foundation's Camp Fire Relief Fund has raised $804,000 in funds so far, which have gone toward various shelters, organizations and service providers.

All of these entities have been directly caring for people displaced by the Camp Fire. 

The fund has supported and facilitated the distribution of cash and gift cards to thousands of individuals and families affected by the fire. 

Below is a breakdown of the shelters, organizations and service providers that the money went toward: 

  • Azad's Martial Arts, Emergency Shelter

  • Bidwell Junior High School, Emergency Shelter

  • Bidwell Presbyterian Church, Emergency Shelter

  • Boys & Girls Club of North Valley, Child care

  • Butte County Fairgrounds, Emergency Shelter

  • Chico Elks Lodge No. 423, Emergency Shelter

  • Chico Veterans Resource Center, Assistance for veterans

  • East Ave Church, Emergency Shelter
