PARADISE, Calif. – Well known Camp Fire muralist, Shane Grammer, is launching a new foundation called “Hope Through Art.”
Grammer says the Hope Through Art Foundation, a non-profit entity, is devoted to broadening public awareness and education of social issues like Human Trafficking, Homelessness while highlighting poverty affected areas and disaster zones. “We will start conversations, educate gifted young artist and students about the art industry and create a platform for shifting the narrative from despair to hope,” said Grammer.
Their goal is to fund six art installations at various locations across the nation with educational opportunities at each site. They will provide funding for essential staff to administrate HTA, and create further funding conversations throughout the year.
The foundation is partnering with Nic’s Restaurant in Paradise for a launch party. They will host a prime rib takeout and Grammer will sell and sign art on Sunday. The event will take place from 12:30 – 2 p.m. at Nic’s in Paradise. All proceeds from the event will go towards Hope Through Art.
