California State Senate District 1 special election to be held Tuesday

On Tuesday, a special election will be held to fill the vacant seat in the California State Senate District 1.

CALIFORNIA - On Tuesday, a special election will be held to fill the vacant seat in the California State Senate District 1.

Ted Gaines, the former state senator, was elected to represent District 1 of the California State Board of Equalization. 

Below are the five candidates: 

  • Steven Baird, Democrat

  • Silke Pflueger, Democrat

  • Brian Dahle, Republican

  • Theodore Dziuba, Republican

  • Rex Hime, Republican

  • Kevin Kiley, Republican
