REDDING, Calif.- The meeting that took place earlier today was an opportunity for the public to express their concerns about PG&E.
The California Public Utilities Commission meeting that took place in Redding is actually not common.
Today's meeting typically takes place in San Francisco, but the committee decided to have it in Redding in order to give people living in the surrounding communities a chance to voice their concerns.
Local government and public officials were some of the people that attended the meeting that took place at the Redding Chity Council Chambers.
Many of the people that spoke at the forum shared their frustration and called on the committee to take action and do a better job of regulating PG&E.
The CPUC heard public comment but did not vote on any energy service matters.
