Calif. - California’s Congressman released a statement regarding President Joe Biden’s 17 executive orders issued on the President’s first day in office on Thursday.

Doug LaMalfa, California's First Congressional District Congressman, criticized President Bidens executive orders for being far-left.

“President Biden’s executive orders on his first day in the office make it clear that he will prioritize pleasing the far-left radicals that have taken over his party over bringing unity to our healing nation,” LaMalfa said.

LaMalfa said Biden is taking the backseat to China and other competitors by rejoining the Paris Climate Accords. He added that the U.S. has become energy-independent but will be losing jobs through Biden’s order to stop the Keystone XL pipeline.

"The American people do not want a European socialist country and are pleading for their way of life and prosperity to be defended, and I stand ready to fight for them,” LaMalfa said.

After plenty of morning clouds, we had plentiful sunshine this afternoon with weaker wind and warmer highs. The clear sky and light wind will lead to a chillier start Friday morning, and we'll have a breezy and mild Friday before more changes arrive.
