CHICO, Calif. - Students are putting their heads together to help Paradise, Concow and Magalia residents rebuild in the wake of the Camp Fire.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo architecture students and representatives visited California State University, Chico Friday to present designs for homes, public buildings, and community spaces.

In January the students showed their first designs and received feedback. This week they returned with their updated concepts.

The architecture students hope to display their finished models to Paradise and surrounding communities.

Cal Poly student Elizabeth Frizell said, "I feel very special to be part of a project that is actually going on currently, and is a big issue to a community and to be included as part of that process."

"It is very humbling and special for me," she shared.

Twenty student designs will be turned into full 3-D models and will be on display when they return to Chico State on April 19, 2019.

Tuesday was another sunny and unseasonably warm to hot day for much of northern California. It was much like Monday, except the wind was stronger, and the wind will be much stronger through much of the next week.
