Cal Fire contains mobile home fire that spread to vegetation

Firefighters contained an early morning fire that started at a mobile home and spread to surrounding vegetation on East Avenue and McLane Avenue in Corning.

CORNING, Calif. - Firefighters contained an early morning fire that started at a mobile home and spread to surrounding vegetation on East Avenue and McLane Avenue in Corning. 

The fire was reported around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. Nearly 20 minutes after, crews fully extinguished the vegetation fire.

The mobile home was destroyed by the fire. The cause remains under investigation. 

Firefighters said around 9:37 a.m. the fire was contained.
