Cal Fire Tehama-Glenn crews to assist at new vaccination site in Oakland

Firefighters from the CAL FIRE Tehama-Glenn Unit are in Oakland to assist at the state's new mass vaccination site.

OAKLAND, Calif. – A group of local firefighters are assisting at the new mass vaccination site at the Oakland Coliseum.

Tehama-Glenn personnel are at the vaccine site to help FEMA and Cal OES administer vaccine shots.

The crews will be there for 14 to 30 days. They will help the vaccination site give out 6,500 shots per day.
