UPDATE 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 - Cal Fire is calling the blaze the Montana Fire.
Firefighters were able to put out the flames, and there is currently no threat to the vegetation around the area.
The fire burned 90 percent of the home. There was nobody in the house at the time of the fire.
PALERMO, Calif. - Cal Fire's Butte County Unit is on the scene at a mobile home fire in Palermo.
The fire was reported around 4:09 p.m. on Sept. 13, and the structure is currently 75 percent involved.
Officials say that the fire has the possibility to extend to surrounding vegetation.
It is unknown whether there was anyone inside the structure at the time of the fire.
