Cal Fire Releases Details on Firefighters Injured in Camp Fire

Cal Fire has released a better picture of how many firefighters were injured during the Camp Fire, highlighting some more of the dangers experienced during the fire.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - Cal Fire has released a better picture of how many firefighters were injured during the Camp Fire, highlighting some more of the dangers experienced during the fire.

On Nov. 8, the morning that the fire started, Cal Fire says that flames overtook three firefighters. 

Two inmate firefighters were also burned trying to escape the flames and ran behind barbed-wire fences. 

A fire captain also suffered burn injuries on that morning. 

The next morning, two more firefighters were injured when a propane tank exploded.
