REDDING, Calif. - One person is in custody for a commercial burglary in Redding.
The CHP arrested Jacob Woolery after investigators said they retrieved $20,000 in construction tools during a search of a suspect's home.
Redding police initially arrested on Dec. 12 for commercial burglary in areas of Hayfork, Redding, and Anderson.
While investigating surveillance video, CHP officers said they noticed Woolery on November 24 at numerous locations in possession of a stolen vehicle. They also said he was a suspect in the theft of a cargo trailer that occurred in the Redding area.
CHP investigators said they will be recommending Woolery be prosecuted by the Shasta County District Attorney's office for numerous counts of being in possession of stolen property, stolen vehicle, fraudulent use of a credit card, grand theft and conspiracy.
