CHP ends labor day maximum enforcement period with over 1,000 DUI arrests

Redding CHP officers ended the holiday maximum enforcement period with a drug DUI arrest.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man at Highway 44 Victor Ave. Offramp Monday Night. They said he failed his field sobriety test.

Overall CHP said via Facebook that their final results of the Labor Day Maximum Enforcement Period ended with 1,078 DUI arrests and at least 45 people killed in crashes in California.
