OROVILLE, Calif. - California Highway Patrol said a silver Camaro went over an embankment at Forbestown Rd. and Powell Ridge Rd Saturday afternoon.
At around 1:20 p.m. CHP was dispatched to a vehicle that went over the embankment and landed on its roof, according to CHP.
The Camaro was driving recklessly and rolled an unknown number of times off the cliff and landed on its hood against a tree.
The lane has opened back up and the car has been towed away.
The male driver suffered a laceration to the head and head trauma and the female passenger complained about shoulder pain.
The two of the victims have been taken by ground ambulance to the hospital.
