UPDATE: Man killed in Glenn County crash identifed as PG&E employee

PG&E will be sending members of the company's gas leadership team to offer support to fellow employees Monday.

UPDATE: A Cottonwood man was killed in a multi-car wreck near Willows Saturday.

Action News Now has learned that the victim was a Pacific Gas and Electric employee. A PG&E spokesperson has identified him as Shane Keyser of Cottonwood. Keyser leaves behind a wife and three children.

"We offer our heartfelt support and prayers to Shane's family, including his wife, Michelle, their three children, and his fellow colleagues in Redding," stated PG&E spokesman Jesus Soto, Jr. 

PG&E will be sending members of the company's gas leadership team to offer support to fellow employees Monday. 

The CHP continues to investigate the crash.

WILLOWS, Calif. - One person is dead after a semi-truck hit multiple vehicles on Interstate 5 on Saturday near Willows, according to initial reports from the California Highway Patrol.

According to CHP, at noon a semi-truck was heading southbound on Interstate 5 when it suddenly crossed the center divider hitting several vehicles.

So far there is no additional information about the circumstances leading up to the crash or if anybody was arrested.
