CAL FIRE knocks out Palermo house fire

CAL FIRE crews knocked out a mobile home fire in Palermo late Monday night.

PALERMO, Calif. - CAL FIRE crews responded to a mobile home fire around 11:53 Monday night. 

The fire happened at the Pleasant Grove Mobile Home Park, at 6986 Lincoln Blvd. in Palermo.

CAL FIRE said its crews made an aggressive attack and were able to knock out the fire within 30 minutes. There were no injuries to firefighters or the owners of the mobile home, however, the mobile home suffered major damage, according to CAL FIRE.

Gusty winds will keep fire danger elevated early Tuesday, but winds will diminish this afternoon. We'll also get a little warmer for your final day of the summer season today. Dry conditions and around to above average temperatures are expected through Friday. Temperatures will then cool down this weekend.
