The Star Incident is 100% contained

The Tehama County Sheriff's Office says that CAL FIRE Tehama County did not find any fire north of Red Bluff.

UPDATE: 4:15 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17 - CAL FIRE Butte County said the Star Incident is now 100% contained.

UPDATE: 4:01 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17 - CAL FIRE Butte County said forward progress on the vegetation fire in Berry Creek has now stopped. Still no word on containment.

UPDATE: 3:43 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17 -  The Tehama County Sheriff's Office says that CAL FIRE Tehama County did not find any fire north of Red Bluff.

TEHAMA and BUTTE COUNTIES, Calif. - CAL FIRE Butte County is responding to a fire on Bonnie Meadow Lane just off of Stephan Ridge Road.

The fire is 0.25 acres.

The fire has a low rate of spread and no structures are threatened.

The Butte County Sheriff's Office says there are currently no evacuations.

Meanwhile, north of Red Bluff, CAL FIRE Tehama County is looking at another possible fire.

We're working to find out the exact location of this smoke.

The last two days saw quite a bit of rain in Northern California. Today we could see more but the showers look to be more isolated today than in previous days. Highs today are expected to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s.
