CAL FIRE respond to house fire in Thermalito

CAL FIRE has knocked down a house fire in Thermalito, the fire broke out at 11 a.m. on Friday.

UPDATE 3:51 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 - The Grand Fire destroyed a home on the 900 block of Grand Ave. in Thermalito, according to CAL FIRE.

The fire was first reported by neighbors, and when crews first arrived the home was fully involved and threatening the surrounding vegetation.

Additional engines were called in as the fire was quickly knocked down, CAL FIRE said. All residents were accounted for, all resources were released from the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, CAL FIRE said.


THERMALITO, Calif. - CAL FIRE has knocked down a house fire in Thermalito on Friday.

The house fire was at 900 block Grand Ave., and first broke out at 11 a.m., CAL FIRE said.

Nobody was inside the home and there is no word on the cause of the fire, according to CAL FIRE.

Crews have knocked down the fire but will remain on the scene to mop up.
