WILLOWS, Calif. - The CHP responded to a traffic collision where a car rolled off the roadway and down an embankment near Highway 45 and County Road 64 in Willows.

A car was headed northbound and swerved off to the west side rolling down an embankment, which was about a 20-foot drop, the CHP said.

Tony Nunes with CHP Willows said the driver was not injured, and that the roof was mainly damaged to the car.

Firefighters temporarily blocked off that part of the road, the CHP said. The roadway reopened about 20 minutes after the incident, the CHP said.

There is no suspicion of alcohol involved in the incident, the CHP said.
