Cal Fire Shasta-Trinity firefighters respond to morning shed fire in Palo Cedro

Firefighters were dispatched at 8:40 a.m., and the fire was contained shortly thereafter. Cleanup was conducted and an estimated $500 of damage was caused.

PALO CEDRO, Calif. – Cal Fire crews contained an early morning fire in Redding.

Firefighters responded at around 8:40 a.m. to an early morning shed fire on the 20000 Block of Boyle Road in Redding. Crews were able to contain the fire shortly after arrival.

The clean up was conducted and an estimated $500 of damage was caused. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Cal Fire Shasta-Trinity crews want to remind residents to be extra cautious and follow tips posted on their Facebook to stay safe during this time of dangerous weather.
