PALERMO, Calif. - CAL FIRE Butte County said it put out a 3-acre vegetation fire on Tuesday.
The fire was located near Mackintosh Ave. and Dack Way.
CAL FIRE said the rate of the spread was slow and forward progress was stopped by local citizen equipment.
CAL FIRE named the fire the Reservoir Fire but renamed it the Crest Fire.
No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
