CA topping list for February job creation

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - 75 percent of all the new, non-farm jobs added in the United States in February 2019 were in California. The number of the jobs added in finance (non-farm) in California were 14,600.

The California Employment Development Department announced Friday that the fifth-biggest economy on the planet, the state of California, has added 3.13 million new jobs since February 2010.

California’s joblessness rate in February stayed at 4.2 percent, which is higher than the national average of 3.8 percent.
