Dixie Fire: All Butte County evacuation orders reduced to warnings

The Butte County Sheriff's Office has downgraded the evacuation order for all Butte County areas.

BUTTE MEADOWS, Calif. - All evacuation orders have been reduced in Butte County to evacuation warnings, CAL FIRE Butte County said.

This includes Butte Meadows, Jonesville, Snag lake area and the Lake Philbrook Area, the Butte County Sheriff's Office said.

CAL FIRE said all other evacuation warnings in place will remain as warnings.

The Sheriff's Office said the Lassen National Forest is still closed.

The Dixie Fire is 25% contained and has burned nearly 488,000 acres. CAL FIRE said the spread of the fire will likely spread to the northeast due to southwest winds.
