DURHAM, Calif. - The Butte County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday to discuss the replacement of two bridges in Butte County.
The two bridges are located on top of Butte Creek south of Durham near Esquon road.
Most people know it as the Butte Creek overflow bridge.
Supervisors will talk about whether to bid on the nearly $18 million project.
Cal Trans and county leaders have already agreed to replace those bridges with one 14-hundred-foot bridge.
Most of the project will be paid off by the Federal Highway Bridge Program.
If the project is approved a portion of the Midway could be closed during construction.
No word yet on when construction will begin.
