Butte County firefighting agencies share videos of training exercises

The CAL FIRE Butte Unit, Chico Fire Department, and other agencies have shared images from their week-long skills training exercises.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - Several Butte County area firefighters received a week of rescue training over the past week.

The firefighters learned life-saving skills like the use of an "interior leaning ladder" move, designed to allow firefighters to get out of burning buildings safely.

The firefighters from the CAL FIRE Butte Unit and other local agencies also learned skills for breaking and breaching concrete walls.
