BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - Butte County Public Health started sending out email notifications Friday to people  75 years and older about their COVID-19 vaccination eligibility.

Due to a large number of Butte County residents in this age category and the current vaccine clinic capacity, Butte County Public Health will be sending emails notifying eligibility at different times.

Health officials said they will be sending out emails over the next couple of weeks and they're asking people to be patient as they will receive an email if they have previously registered.

To register for a COVID-19 vaccination notification, go to the Butte County Public Health COVID-19 Vaccine page at www.buttecounty.net/COVIDvaccine.

For people without an internet connection, call the COVID-19 call center at (530) 552-3050 for help completing the form. An email is required to sign up for the notification.

Butte County Public Health asks people without an email to reach out to friends, family members, or neighbors who can receive the email on their behalf.

Vaccine information has been added to the Butte County COVID-19 Dashboard which includes vaccine dose allocation, receipt, and administration. This information will be updated every Thursday.
