BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - A Butte County teenager landed a role as a dancer on the award-winning NBC show "This is Us."
Victoria Knighten, 16, is a junior at Inspire School of Arts in Chico and has been dancing since she was two-years-old.
Her dancing skills caught the attention of a Los Angeles agent, who helped Knighten land a role as a dancer on the show "This is Us."
At first, Knighten said she was nervous to try out for the show, but it only took her three days to get the part.
"It was so much fun," Knighten said. "The hardest part is not freaking out when seeing Sterling and everyone else there. You have to just, like, keep calm, but you also know you're there for a reason and I was there to dance and I made sure of that. I was there and I did my part."
Knighten says that she loves dancing because it gives her the ability to express her feelings through movement.
You can watch her performance on an episode of "This is Us" premiering Tuesday at 9 p.m. on NBC Channel 24.
