BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - If you are a veteran and looking to adopt a dog, you might be in luck!
Three dogs are up for adoption for veterans, the dogs are from the Butte County Sheriff's Office 'Second Chance K9 for Veteran's program'
The dogs were once considered unadoptable by the SPCA until they were retrained by inmates in the Butte County Sheriff's Office Alternative Custody Supervision program.
They are available to Veterans who can benefit from the companionship that a trained dog can provide. Their names are Bravo, Oscar, and Whiskey.
