Evacuation order for Rock Creek reduced to warning

An evacuation order for the Rock Creek area in Butte County has been reduced to an evacuation warning.

UPDATE 3:22 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 - The Butte County Sheriff's Office lifted an evacuation warning for the area of Nord due to flooding.

UPDATE 3:13 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019 - An evacuation order for the Rock Creek area in Butte County has been reduced to an evacuation warning.

The Butte County Sheriff's Office issued an evacuation order Thursday morning around 9:20 a.m. for the area Hamilton Nord Cana Highway and Wilson Landing Road, south of Rock Creek due to flooding of Rock Creek. However, this has now been downgraded to a warning. 

There is also an evacuation warning in place for the community of Nord due to flooding at Rock Creek.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The Butte County Sheriff's Office has issued evacuations for the Rock Creek Levee area. 

An evacuation ORDER has been issued for the area of Hamilton Nord Cana Highway and Wilson Landing Road, south of Rock Creek due to flooding of Rock Creek. 

An evacuation WARNING has been issued for the community of Nord due to flooding of Rock Creek.
