Butte County Officials Sworn Into Office

Eight elected officials were sworn into office for Butte County in Oroville Monday.

OROVILLE, Calif. - Eight elected officials were sworn into office for Butte County in Oroville Monday.

The Oath of Office Ceremony was held on Monday at noon at the Butte County Board of Supervisors' Chambers in Oroville. 

The Honorable Judge Stephen E. Benson administered the oath of office to re-elected County Clerk-Recorder, Candace Grubbs.

Upon completion of her oath, Candace Grubbs administered the oath to the following officials: 

  • Debra Lucero - County Supervisor, 2nd District (newly elected)

  • Tami Ritter-  County Supervisor, 3rd District (newly elected)

  • Diane Brown - Assessor (re-elected)

  • Graciela Gutierrez - Auditor-Controller (newly elected)

  • Michael L. Ramsey - District Attorney (re-elected)

  • Kory L. Honea - Sheriff-Coroner (re-elected)

  • Mary Sakuma - Superintendent of Schools (newly elected)

  • Troy Kidd - Treasurer-Tax Collector (newly elected)
