Butte County, Calif.—Butte County’s top election official is putting out a plea for poll workers for the June primary election.
County Clerk Candace Grubbs says they are public service positions where workers can earn between $130 and $175.
Training is required and the first training is scheduled for May 17th.
Precinct clerks, inspectors, and voting system specialists are needed before the June 5th primary.
Contact the one stop shop employment center in either Chico or Oroville to apply.
Meanwhile, Grubbs says vote by mail ballots should be arriving at people’s homes in blue envelopes by May 19th.
