CHICO, Calif. - A man was arrested with about 129 packs of stolen cigarettes from a Rite Aid in Chico, according to the Chico Police Department.
Officers responded to a commercial burglary at Rite Aid on W. East Ave. in Chico at about 6:55 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said a man broke a window and emerged with a duffel bag full of items.
An officer on duty received information about a vehicle and located it driving southbound on Nord Ave.
The officer pulled the vehicle over and identified the driver at Jonothan Nance, 35. Nance was identified as a parolee at large and wanted for a parole violation.
During the investigation, officers found a duffel bag full of cigarette packs. Officer found about 129 packs and the officer verified they were stolen from Rite Aid.
Nance was arrested and is facing burglary and parole violation charges. He was transported to the Butte County Jail.
