Anderson, Calif.-- A bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Walmart Supercenter in Anderson Friday night.
According to police, a man phoned into the store around 6:30 p.m. claiming there were bombs in the store. Authorities evacuated the store and the parking lot while the store was scoured for any signs of bombs. Nothing was ever found and the store was reopened at 10 p.m.
No word on who may have phoned in the threat, or what the motive may have been.
