OROVILLE, Calif. - Oroville police officers responded to reports of a body found in a drainage ditch.
At around 7:56 a.m. on Monday, the Oroville Police Department received a call from an employee of Pastime Auto Wash reporting the body of a man facing down in a drainage ditch behind 1610 Olive Highway.

When police arrived on scene they confirmed that the man was deceased. The department has not released his identity, but they did say he was a homeless person with recent alcohol-related arrests.
