Blue Santa visited the pediatric ward at mercy medical center in Redding today.
Blue Santa Clause, McGruff the crime dog, and uniformed officers delivered Christmas presents to little 3 year old Wes Cooper.
Operation Blue Santa is a non-profit Christmas program sponsored by the Redding Peace Officers association with the Redding Police Department.
Little Wes has a pneumonia but is feeling better and will be home in time for Christmas.
