Blackness in Film Forum to be held on CSU Chico campus

Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. a panel will be held about diversity in film. It is called "Blackness in Film: A Video Essay Approach.

A presentation by videographer Quinn Winchell from CSUC's Center for Healthy Communities, will be open to the public to encourage an honest and open discussion about diversity.

Winchell present "Blackness in Film: A Video Essay Approach," which is a project from the courst MADT 352: Media Arts and Identify. The purpose of the project is to explore the representation of African Americans in film via student presentations in the form of an academic panel.

The panel will be held Wednesday, November 29 from 6-9 p.m. in Colusa 100B.

Dry conditions, warmer temperatures, and gusty north winds will drive high fire danger and a Red Flag Warning across most of northern California Monday.
