BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The father of a man who was shot and killed in Oroville says he’s not giving up until he gets justice for his son.

Investigators say Jacob McArthur was killed on December 21st, 2019. His father, Alex McArthur, says since then, no one has been charged.

He says he met with the Butte County Sheriff's office this week and they are looking into a possible suspect. The latest effort to find answers has been two large billboards put up in Chico and Oroville.

Alex McArthur: "There’s nothing more important in our lives right now than to get this closure and not that it's going to bring my son back but at least we will know what happened as it stands right now this is my life’s work I'm not focusing on anything else and I don’t plan on focusing on anything else."

There is a $20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
