CHICO, Calif.-  Coronavirus concerns didn't stop a popular sports bar in Chico from celebrating its grand opening on Saturday.

Bella's Sports Pub's old location on Broadway Street has been closed since late December. Saturday, they finally celebrated their grand opening at their new location on Main Street in Downtown Chico.

The Bar's manager, Derek Isomaki says they have a large clientele and he doesn't think they'll lose business because of the coronavirus. He does, however, say that they are being more cautious.

"Just having everyone wash their hands, dumping our sanitizing buckets every 30 minutes, making sure the water is always warm, we're taking measures to make sure we aren't touching our garnishes as much so that people getting drinks are having as little contact as possible with the people at the bar."

Skyler Caldwall, stopped by to check out the new location Saturday afternoon, he said he's not too concerned about eating out at restaurants. "It's not as bad as people think... that's my opinion."

Ryan Mullin, from Chico says, "As long as people stay safe and aware of what's going on and go out responsibly and wash their hands and making sure you're being safe when making contact with other people."

Bar Manager, Derek Isomaki, adds that the new space is a lot bigger than the old location,  with more windows and more food and drink options.

Action News Now also reached out to bars nearby to see if they have been impacted by coronavirus concerns.

Parkside Tap House and B. Street said business has remained busy lately.

Workers at The Banshee said they have been slower than usual.

The new Bella's Sports Pub is located at 231 Main Street in Chico.
