LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A close encounter with a bear and it was caught on camera in North Lake Tahoe.

Homeowners found a large bear in their home on top of their kitchen island on Thursday making himself at home.

A Placer County deputy tried to get the bear’s attention through the window but to no avail.

The bear was too bust feasting on some fruit and bread, the deputy was able to eventually get the bear out.

Luckily there was no damage done to the property.
