HAPPY VALLEY, Calif. – Firefighters are cleaning up after a structure fire broke out on Bright Path Road in Happy Valley.

A barn fire was reported to firefighters around noon on Wednesday. When crews arrived, they found the building fully engulfed in flames. Crews said they were able to knock down the fire within an hour.

“We were dispatched out for a barn on fire and when we got here, fully involved structure,” Randy Simmons with the Happy Valley Fire Department said. “It took fire suppression tactics and stuff to extinguish the fire and called in for some mutual aid.”

Firefighters say that the building is a total loss. Action News Now is working to figure out just how much the total damage it.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported.
