CHICO, Calif. -- Students went back to school in Chico on Thursday.

Seniors at the Inspire School of Arts and Sciences started off the day off early Thursday to watch the sunrise together.

Meanwhile, students at Pleasant Valley High School had a pep rally with trivia games Thursdsay morning.

Grant Holt, a senior at Chico High School, shared some advice for incoming freshmen.

"Join more clubs and get more out there. A lot of people come into high school with a friend group they have and don't realize there are so many other people," said Holt.
