The Butte County Sheriff's Office says around 4:30 p.m., deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant to Ryan Scott Rash at his home on Jasper Way in Chico. Authorities say Rash is wanted on a felony warrant out of Butte County. When deputies tried to meet Rash outside, they said he ran away and then got into a black infinity two-door sports car with an unknown license plate.

The Sheriff's Office says they tried to pursue him through residential neighborhoods but canceled the pursuit due to the high speed and heavy traffic.

Anyone with information regarding Rash's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Sergeant JoshBrazzii at 538-7321. All reporting parties can remain anonymous.
