On February 27, 2018, Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) was contacted by Prospect High School advising that a 16 year old male student had made threats to kill a teacher.
BCSO deputy Jesse Nicholaw notified Oroville Unified School District of the threats and requested that the school notify him if the student comes onto campus.
Nicholaw received information that the student was staying with family members in the Oroville area.
The student was contacted at the home and then arrested for making criminal threats.
The student was booked into Juvenile Hall, his name is not being released due to the fact that he is a juvenile.
