Update: Wanted suspect from Oroville captured by Marysville police

The Marysville Police Department has captured a wanted suspect, George Wright, 19, of Oroville after fleeing from Butte County sheriff's deputies on Thursday.

UPDATE - The Marysville Police Department has captured a wanted suspect, George Wright, 19, of Oroville after fleeing from Butte County sheriff's deputies on Thursday.

According to the Butte County Sheriff's Office, Wright was found by Marysville police on Saturday night, but no specific information has been released regarding the arrest.

Wright was booked into Butte County Jail where he was charged with:

- Possession of a controlled substance and burglary tools
- A prohibited person in possession of a firearm, ammunition and ballistic vest 
- Possession of a loaded firearm while possessing a controlled substance

Butte County Calif.-- The Butte County Sheriff's Office says on Thursday afternoon at 3:30, 19-year-old George Wright was stopped during a traffic stop and ran away from authorities carrying a black colored semi-automatic pistol.

Deputies searched the area with a K9, and by air with the BCSO helicopter, but they were unable to locate Wright. 

The Sheriff's Office says Wright is wanted on felony warrants and is currently on felony probation.
