BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol is searching for the person they say dumped a stolen car off a cliff in the Feather River Canyon.

Officers say a railroad worker found a 2017 Honda Accord just across the river at the Pulga Bridge, off of Highway 70 Tuesday night.

No one was inside the car when it was found.

The California Highway Patrol said the car had been reported stolen and someone likely dumped the car at the canyon and left.
